These folks go above and beyond! There's three rows of well-shaded RV sites (about 35-40 total) and they were fully booked during our visit in early July. Each site is not only clean but is fully landscaped with flowers, trees and sprinklers. I recommend reserving a back-in spot on the last row for a view of the mountains as you fall asleep. The office cooked us a couple bratwursts for a late-night dinner (we hadn't bought groceries yet...what a life saver!). The community was all long-term RV'ers (mostly retired couples). We met some great folks, had a bonfire and a few drinks and the campground was quiet by 10:00 p.m. The owners pay attention to the little things. There are benches placed along the entry road offering a beautiful view of the scenery. Don't forget to walk down to Grape Creek... it's well-worth it!
Like the park. Only problem was that we had to change sites because the trees were not trimmed high enough. The view of the mountains was breath taking
What a lovely place to stay! The views are incredible, and the grounds are beautifully maintained. The staff was friendly and helpful. We will definitely return!
This is a beautiful campground about a mile from Westcliffe. It is well-maintained, with beautiful landscaping. Lots of flowers in bloom when we visited for a week. We would have stayed longer, but the park was booked solid. Bath and laundry facilities are top-notch. The park is listed for sale. I hope the new owners put as much love and effort as the current ones. We will visit again.
Wonderful park with gorgeous mountain views. The grounds are immaculate with Kentucky Blue Grass & flowers & many Aspen trees. Love it all.
