I don't usually give bad reviews but this upset me a great deal.
Bottom line,
My husband and I were in Westcliffe for a wedding in June. We stayed at Courtyard Country Inn. We were so impressed. Our room was spotless and cute besides. We loved the garden and all the cute decorations. The hosts are amazing. We would recommend this place for a fun and relaxing visit.
My mom and her husband came in to town for my wedding at the end of July.
The owners were awful to them. Very unprofessional. Claiming they new my mom and her husband would be "trouble" the moment they arrived. Other things happened which I don't need to get in to detail.
What ever circumstances were, you are to be a professional business and suit your customer's needs. Not rude and only looking for the pay out. Not trying to argue with your customer or try to avoid your customer when all they want is their receipt. The whole situation was extremely immature, again unprofessional.
Quite, no blaring sounds, bluegrass musicians picking in garden in the wee hours of the morning....no complaints here except for an ice .machine....bring a cooler next year
Horrible place, horrible people. Not much else but DONT STAY THERE!!!
I have stayed here twice, once before I was married and once after. Both times staying here was great, the owners Mo and John were great! They were very friendly and helpful, the two dogs were great also (sorry, I can't remember their names). We have been trying to schedule a trip back but my families schedule has not allowed any vacation. We will be back for more of the Valley and the Courtyard Country Inn, can't think of any Cons, only Pros. Great coffee and breakfast in the morning, wonderful Happy Time on the back patio with the other guests. Thanks Mo and John
My mom and her husband's stay was so awful they decided to go back to canon and stay in a hotel there. With no refund or remorse from the owners.
