Campground is extremely well kept and clean. Tall stands of Aspen and Pine throughout, nice stream runs through campground as well.
Good hiking within walking distance from the camping, some sites have creek access.
Awesome campground in a beautiful area. The grounds and restrooms were spotless. Tent camped several days, wind and water was the only noise heard at night. Easy access to the Venable/Comanche trail, a hike I highly recommend. Best camping trip ever.
I arrived in the dark, and I left in the dark, so I can't be specific about aesthetics, but I can tell you that it was extremely well-kept. I noticed Aspens, and tall Pines. Lots of room. Not too terribly far off the main road. I'll definitely visit once more if I'm in the area.
