I love this little town and bakery. We always stop when we’re driving thru to salida.
The sausage and egg biscuit was above average and while most likely homemade at first still came out of the microwave before it was served. I've heard the burritos are great but it isn't easy to see they have them on the menu in the heat of the moment at the register. Make sure to take your time and assess the whole menu before stepping up to the register. Cash or check only! And I didn't think the donuts were the best thing on the menu.
Love, love, LOVE this place! The wonderful smells hit you before you walk in. They have some gluten free stuff, but you have to ask. They also sell their flours, including gluten free. A variety of things. Cash or checks only.

My husband and I got breakfast to go this last Wednesday in a trip through the area. I had the veggie and sausage quiche and he had the breakfast burrito. Both tasty. There is not any seating inside but a couple of good spots outside.
Perfect place for that sweet tooth...
